A collage of two pictures of BJP MLA Shivraj Singh Chouhan is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In the first picture, the left hand was plastered and in the second picture, a blue plastered is seen on his right hand. It is being claimed that both the photos are of the same day and he is faking his injury.
A facebook page name Azamgarh Express posted a collage of pictures with a caption "One photo was clicked in the morning and another was taken in the evening, along with the cloths, the hand structure also changed. wow, Shivraj Singh has done very good acting". ( Roughly translated from Hindi).
South Mumbai Congress member Ria has also tweeted the same post "Acting kar kar ke hi tho in logo ne bhakton ko ULLU banaya".
The same picture was tweeted by Facebook page Priyanka Gandhi - Future Of India.
When scrolled through Shivraj Singh's Twitter timeline, we got his latest pictures and videos, in which the blue color plaster can be seen on his right hand. Shivraj Singh has undergone right-hand surgery only last week.
Shivraj Singh Chauhan also tweeted a video in the same clothes. The video clearly shows that his right arm is plastered.
In the viral picture, it can be seen that the button on the shirt of Shivraj Singh and people standing with him is seen on the right. Usually, the stripe on men's shirt, jacket or kurta is on the left side.
This proves that the picture is either clicked by the 'mirroring' feature or was intentionally flipped.
The viral claim is false that Shivraj Singh Chauhan has faked an injury on his hand. The image was either clicked by the 'mirroring' feature or was intentionally flipped.
